Pricing any property is a matter of carefully considering all aspects, including; location, size, quality and competition. We are working on a comparative index to determine price levels and changes, prices can fall as well as increase and the level of service and extras supplied are most important.

We get a lot of requests from owners to add their properties to our sites as we market our French vacation sites successfully, we are also working with some of the biggest operators so the level of bookings we generate is high.

We are writing some guides to property rentals as the laws and controls in France are changing fast now. For example it is illegal to sell electricity at a profit, EDF have the monopoly and will now prosecute if anyone sells it as an extra for a vacation home, which they claim 95% of owners are doing - also a "seasonal" rental is defined as one of no more than 93 days total rentals, summer or winter (it is not clear if one property can be both and have 186 days). A day tax plus a tourist tax is also paid in most regions on these short term rentals and registration is now obligatory.

The properties we are adding offer us the chance to sell any available weeks, many of these realise we can sell all weeks they offer and they have no need to spend other money of time to promote their property.
