Forum Posting on Fractional OwnershipHi Everyone, I'm Margaret 54,a teacher from Glasgow.My husband John is 58 and an electrician.For about two years we have been looking for property in Spain and more recently France,which we both now prefer.We have a family home which we were reluctantly going to sell to finance our foreign property butwhen we saw the Fractional Ownership way of buying it was an answer to our prayers. We could afford a "Place in France" and keep our home.We're not quite at retirement age yet so a few months a year seemed a great idea. Enough about us.We went to the Languedoc region on holiday this year and loved it.There is something for everyone,beaches,mountains etc,and the people in this region are really friendly.In fact we are going back next year whether we have a property or not. We missed out on a house being sold on a fractional ownership basis last year. The house itself was beautiful,in a quiet area yet near to shops and all amenities.It had been well looked after and there were no repairs or changes to make.It was inland(25 mins.from the beach)and a car was needed to get to the nearest big town Pezenas(10 mins.) but it is an unique property surrounded by vineyards in an up and coming area and to see this area in full you would need to drive anyway. I would like Rob to keep looking for us and if we get another 3 interested buyers we could get a 3 bedroomed house nearer the coast between us.There are lots of good properties on the website http://www.moving-to-france.com .So if you are interested in this idea please let Rob know. I think the Fractional Ownership idea is a great way to own your little bit of France and Rob,who we met on our visit to the house is highly recommended as truthful and reliable.We trust him!!
