When Your Chin Is On The GroundWatching "Doctor Who" last weekend I understood what the people of Pompeii must have felt like as they watched Vesuvius burping on their doorstep - many months of mumbled doom suddenly becoming a harsh reality. Our ancient dog Suissy (even I don't know how to spell her name) had a stroke last week and could not move - I thought that was curtains, but against all odds I was able to take her for a walk yesterday.
