When Your Chin Is On The Ground

Watching "Doctor Who" last weekend I understood what the people of Pompeii must have felt like as they watched Vesuvius burping on their doorstep - many months of mumbled doom suddenly becoming a harsh reality. Just when you think it really can't get any worse - life looks you in the eye and says "you wanna bet sunshine?".

So the keynote of this newsletter is not another grumble about dastardly estate agents, evil technology companies or other mean and horrid aspects of life and business I have experienced over the last few years - but the positives in my life - my wonderful wife Carole, my beautiful and cherished children (Tony, Belle, Alexandra, Miranda and Jack plus Tanya and Jasmine) and my precious Mum.

Our ancient dog Suissy (even I don't know how to spell her name) had a stroke last week and could not move - I thought that was curtains, but against all odds I was able to take her for a walk yesterday. She just "picked her self up...."
