France - Make your dream come true.
I started a newsletter about our life in France over ten years ago - my idea was to keep in touch with all the visitors to our home in Nizas and to have a place online wher I could keep notes of useful sites and information for all the questions I was asked. Most of the notes and information for the last eight years is still online at http://www.nizas.com/archives.html, since March I have been writing in Wordpress on my site at http://www.twiku.com/ When I started I was involved in the vacation business, we had two apartments to rent in our home, so I started a rentals website which became the leading French site for Vacation rentals - I lost this last year when I made a mistake of selling part of it to a group of incompetant nincompoops but I am trying to get this sorted out again. To make a living I started helping a colleague with his real-estate website. This grew into setting up an agency in Languedoc so now http://www.coast-country-france.com/ is keeping me busy so, after ten years of complaining about how unscrupulious many estate-agents are, I have put on a loud check suit, big flat shoes, baggy trousers, a bow tie and bowler hat - the red nose looks a bit odd though, so I may not wear that, or the pink wig. In my spare time I plan to sell secondhand cars, encyclopedias and double glazing. With the Internet marketing, vacations services, real-estate and rentals I am kept busy, but writing about the trials and tribulations helps keep it in perspective.
